It was little more than a month ago when SuperClubs paid tribute to over 300 staff members at a lavish long-service awards ceremony and, of course, Hedonism II had much to celebrate as their staff members commanded a lion's share of the awards.

Now, there is yet another celebration on the horizon as the SuperClubs flagship property welcomed for the 100th visit multi-repeat guest, James Arthur Kelley. Affectionately known as 'Doc' at the SuperClubs property, he is a dentist from New York who first visited Hedonism II back in 1981. Since then, the social butterfly who is also a member of two highly popular Hedonism II groups - Bubbly Bares and Butt Crack Tours - has managed to visit his 'Jamaican home' at least once per year, adding a total of 40 visits in the last five years alone (eight visits per year).

It is no doubt that Doc's love affair with Hedonism II and by extension Jamaica has stood the test of time. Like so many other guests who have developed a special loyalty to the resort, Doc first visited the SuperClubs party capital in search of relaxation and fun, which he found. But over the years he has also found numerous life-long friends and lasting love with girlfriend of 16 years, Sherry McLendon, whom he met on the hotel's beach in 1986 and began dating in 1991.

His visit to Hedonism II is most significant as he is the first repeater in the resort's 25-year history to have accumulated that many visits and, as can be expected, Hedonism II will be pulling out all the stops in celebration of this remarkable milestone.

VIP party

A special limousine with two escorts transferred Doc and his VIP party from the Sangster International Airport to Negril. Upon his arrival at Hedonism II there was a jubilant meet-and-greet with members of the resort's management team and friends within the guest fraternity. He was later whisked away to his Jacuzzi suite for a personalised in-room check-in by the concierge.

A grand party and awards presentation marked his achievement, while a special luncheon in the staff recreational room allowed him to reminisce the good ol' days with several of his closest friends on staff.

A tree-planting ceremony in his honour will restore his specially marked tree, which was uprooted during Hurricane Ivan, and add a new dimension to the Hedonism II historical landscape. Other complimentary props include several spa vouchers that the multi-repeater may chose to use or give away to his friends, and dinner with his very own VIP party of specially-invited guests at Rick's Café or Pirates Cave, whichever he chooses.

Doc also received a personalised, hand-crafted bar stool, which only he will sit on each time he visits the property, a catamaran cruise and an off-property excursion of his choice for him and several close friends, a special VIP card with which he can access any SuperClubs property until expiration, seven complimentary nights on a return trip to Hedonism II, as well as free round trip airline tickets for his next visit and a first-class upgrade on this, his 100th trip, compliments of Air Jamaica.
